Background
Hello, and welcome!
I'm Kerry, a multidisciplinary artist and art teacher living in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan.
Growing up in Michigan and northern New York's Adirondack region, I've always been inspired and in awe of my rural surroundings. From an early age, I've been interested in nature and wildlife, birds in particular. So instead of playing with the latest games and fads the 90s had to offer, my sister and I were always outside, searching for bugs, bones and feathers. This played a huge part in the theme of wildlife in my artwork.

My undergraduate studies in Art Education helped me to explore a vast number of mediums, including ceramics, printmaking, graphic design, and painting. It wasn't until recently that I was exposed to wood burning and purchased my first wood burning kit. I was immediately drawn to this art, and am thrilled to share the things that make my heart happy :) I hope these creations will also bring you some joy, and thank you again for taking time to check out my work!
